About OraCore AI

Using AI to put dentistry back in human hands.

OraCore grew from firsthand experience building and operating dental practices, where good care still depended on disconnected software and people reconstructing the visit after it ended. We build practical tools that carry the appointment context forward while keeping judgment with the team.

Our origin

The care was not broken. The operating system around it was.

Good dental care depended on people working through disconnected systems, repeated administrative steps, and knowledge that was difficult to carry from one person or visit to the next.

Brad Hutchison started his first dental practice in 2016. By 2020, he and his team had grown the organization to five practices across the Denver metro area. In 2024, the group partnered with a national DSO. As the organization grew, the same problems became harder to ignore.

Documentation pulled attention away from patients. Important context had to be reconstructed after the visit. New staff learned a patchwork of systems and local workarounds, while turnover could take operating knowledge out the door. Patients felt those failures through divided attention, weaker handoffs, and more friction around their care. Brad and Tim Chapla founded OraCore in 2025 to build around the real work of the dental team and reduce the burden surrounding the visit.

Our mission

Return attention to the patient by reducing the work that follows the visit.

OraCore carries useful appointment context into a reviewable workflow so clinicians and staff spend less time reconstructing what already happened.

AI assists. People remain responsible for care and the final record.

What we build today

OraCore Scribe turns appointment conversations into documentation your team can review.

Solo supports one provider. Team gives unlimited providers at one location a shared documentation workflow. Pro adds supported PMS-read context after compatibility and configuration are confirmed.

Capture the visit

Keep the source conversation available so the team can review what was said instead of rebuilding the visit from memory.

Draft the documentation

Begin with a dental-specific clinical-note draft and useful handoff context instead of a blank chart.

Review before finalizing

The practice reviews, edits, and decides what belongs in the final patient record.

Our vision

Dental technology should remove barriers between clinicians and patients.

We are working toward a future where dental practices run more effortlessly because ambient intelligence supports the work around the visit.

That future starts with a clear boundary today: OraCore Scribe assists with documentation, and people remain responsible for clinical decisions and the final record.

Our values

What guides the work.

Each value describes a product behavior buyers and customers should be able to see.

Trust & Transparency

Explain what the product does, what it does not do, and what depends on the plan, practice system, or configuration.

Clinical Alignment

Design around dental terminology, visit structures, team roles, and the handoffs that move patient care forward.

Simplicity First

Reduce reconstruction and unnecessary steps. Do not ask the practice to create more work in order to use the product.

Human-First AI

Use AI to support attention, judgment, and communication. Keep people responsible for care and the final clinical record.

Security by Design

Consider data flow, access, configuration, and review from the start. Give practices clear information for their own security and compliance decisions.

Continuous Innovation

Improve the product through observed workflow needs and customer feedback. Describe future ideas as direction until they are available to buyers.
